ITF BT50 RANKING DOUBLES TOURNAMENT MARCH 28-30

The 3RD BTA Ranking Event of 2025 will take place from Friday March 28 until Sunday March 30. This event features an ITF BT50 men’s and women’s doubles, mixed doubles tournament for all levels and finally on Sunday a men’s and women’s doubles tournament for all levels. Tournament prizes are dinner or gift certificates for winners and medals for all amateur finalists. ITF men- & women doubles has a total purse of $ 4000.-

Saturday 10:00 AM

ITF BT50 men’s and women’s doubles quarter finals

Saturday 4:00 PM

All levels mixed doubles tournament

Sunday 2:00 PM

ITF BT50 men’s and women’s doubles semifinals followed by the finals

All levels men’s and women’s doubles

 

Register in one of the following categories:

OPEN – Men’s doubles level 1 or lower. Women Pro or lower.                                                      

ADVANCED – Men’s level 2, 3 & 4 or lower. ADVANCED women’s level 1 & 2 or lower.

INTERMEDIATE – Men’s level 5,6 & 7 or lower. Women’s level 3 & 4 or lower.

BEGINNER- Men’s doubles of level 8 & 9 or no (former) league players, and women’s doubles teams consisting of lvl 5 & 6 or no league players.

 

Classification is decided by the league doubles level, the highest one counts.

So if a Level 1 teams up with a level 4 they will have to play level 1.

If a player does not play men or women doubles, than the last played league level counts.

Please register in the category of the highest ranked player in the team! Beach Tennis Aruba reserves the right to correct the level in case a team registered too low.

Registration fee is Afl. 20 per person for members and Afl. 25 for non-members for the adult tournaments.

Minimum age for the adult tournaments is 14 years and at least one of the team members has to be 16 years or older.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION for JUNIORS >

Juniors age 16 & under have to compete in Junior doubles ranking tournament on MARCH 15 in order to play the tournament.

 

FRIDAY MARCH 28 LAST DAY TO PAY, only paid registration will be confirmed.

Payments have to be made for the whole team, individual payments will not be accepted.

IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE CONFIRMED LIST, THAN YOU or YOUR PARTNER ARE NOT UP TO DATE WITH THE MEMBERSHIP INCL. APRIL OR LEAGUE FEE PAID.
CONFIRMED TEAMS
Monday April 7 the BTA Spring league 2025 starts.

Tuesday April 1st is the last day to register or when categories are full.

You have to be an active BTA member and up to date including April  & the league fee AWG 25.- per category paid in order to get confirmed.

 

How does the League work?

SATURDAY APRIL 5 the SCHEDULES will be online.

Reschedules >  can only be done twice and have to be reported ATLEAST 48 HRS BEFORE YOUR MATCH at the designated BTA official.

Substitutes  >  You are allowed too play with a substitute as long as its the same level or lower and the opponents have to agree.

At the BTA club notify your presence to the BTA official on duty, he or she will introduce you to your opponent and assign your court.

The one time League fee (AWG 25.- per player) has to be paid before your first match

Players are responsible for the official match ball (SXY ball orange/yellow).

After the match rake the court and report your score.

 

Format of play > will be a best out of 3 sets till 6 games won by 2 with a tie-break at 6-6.

In case of a third set a Super tie-break played til 10 points will decide the winner.

Matches are played on ‘followed by’ this means if you are scheduled at 7 PM the match will not start before 7 PM and after the previous match is finished.

 

LEAGUE RULES & REGULATIONS

Adult leagues (16 years and up).

Monday > Singles.

Tuesday > Women doubles.

Wednesday > Mixed doubles & Bucket league (invitation only)

Thursday > Men doubles.

 

Matches are played between 6 – 10 PM on a followed by format.
