Record-Breaking KLM Aruba Marathon Welcomes 2,750 Participants from 42 Countries

New Aruba Marathon Record Set!
In an exciting highlight, a new course record was set by Mr. Yeisson Javier Parra Rodriguez from the Colombia, who won the Marathon (42.2KM) in a stunning 02:37:13. He was awarded a $2,500 USD prize on stage. The fastest female was Mrs. Lana Gobert from Aruba, completing the marathon in 03:08:57.
It was an honor that Minister Gerlien Croes was able to present a cheque of $2,500 for the Winner -and deliver an inspiring speech to the participants, athletes, sponsors, and volunteers.

Aruba Championship
The fastest Aruban male and female marathon runners each won a KLM return ticket and a guaranteed entry to the sold-out Amsterdam Marathon. The local champions were celebrated as part of the Aruba Championship.

Aruba – June 8, 2025 – The 2025 edition of the KLM Aruba Marathon drew an impressive 2,750 registered participants, including 850 runners accompanied by friends and family, totaling 1,955 international visitors from 42 countries:
Anguilla, Argentina, Armenia, Aruba, Australia, Belgium, Bonaire, Brazil, Canada, Chili, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Curaçao, Dominican Republic, Germany, Ecuador, El Salvador, Finland, France, Georgia, United Kingdom, Ierland, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Austria, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Sint Maarten, Spain, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Czech Republic, Uruguay, Venezuela, United States, Sweden, Switzerland

As an AIMS/World Athletics certified race, a Boston Marathon qualifier, and part of the Wanda Age Group World Championships, the event offers distances for all levels: 5KM, 10KM, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon. The scenic race starts and finishes at the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort, with the next edition scheduled for June 6 and 7, 2026.

Saturday, June 7 at 5:30 PM – 5KM race start
Sunday, June 8 –
3:00 AM: Full Marathon
5:15 AM: Half Marathon
6:15 AM: 10KM
